WRITTEN IN MEMORY OF SEPT 11th 2001
Like an adventure film on the silver screen
We watched it unfold like a terrible dream
Saw the fire, saw the flame
As another building was hit by a plane
Until at last the heroes came
Doing their job whatever their name.
Don't go on the people cried
But hero's climbed and hero's died
We couldn't believe it, just sat in shock
As the second tower started to rock
Death like the wind swept floor to floor
Until with a crash the tower was no more
Screams and cries, clouds of dust
For many there was nothing but in god to trust
Thousands were lost, not to be found
As the twin towers were erased to the ground
It wasn't just America that felt the pain,
The rest of the world knew it the same.
Over 60 countries lost people that day.
Now we must make the terrorist pay
This time we must finish the fight
Not stop like before, victory in site.
This time we must see it through
And make a world fit for me and you.
